We are a small, founder-led publication, and everyone here does the work: reporting, testing, building, editing. If you would rather dig into one system for three weeks than rewrite a press release in thirty minutes, you will fit in.
xSypher is small on purpose. We publish fewer pieces than a newsroom, we check them properly, and we would rather be right than first. The bar for a story is simple: would an engineer who builds this kind of system learn something from it?
There is no fluff and no click farming here. If you enjoy reading dense documentation, reproducing a benchmark, talking to the person who wrote the patch, or making a page load fast on a mid-range Android device, you will fit in.
We are funded by sponsorship and reader support rather than by a balance sheet full of investors, so we will not promise a corporate benefits package we cannot honour. What we can offer is straightforward.
The team is in Peshawar; readers are everywhere. We work in writing, across time zones, with deadlines agreed up front instead of daily stand-ups.
The software, paid plans, test accounts, cloud spend and hardware a story needs are covered. If a review has to be run on a paid tier to be honest, we buy the tier.
Contributor and contract schedules are built around your studies or your other commitments. One piece you are proud of beats five that had to be filed to hit a quota.
